CW Post Special Editions
Over the course of the year, there were several events that showed the Japan pride and spirit through sporting events such as the oylmpics. We have recognized some atheletes that did an outstanding job and gave great efforts to bring joy to the people of Japan. These special covers are to show our gratitude in our people competing and representing our country as one.
2016 Olympics
In 2016, we launched our first special. The 2016 Olypics hosted in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Japan National Basketball team came in third overall and won the bronze medal, and had a nation-wide impact. To celebrate the victory, we decided to put Leo Stern, the ace of Japan basketball team, on the special edition cereal box to show our respect and gratitude for the team. We are proud and thankful for bringing joy and happiness to Japan, and we will live up to the expectation of Japan. Congratulations to all of the athletes who competed in 2016 summer olympics.
2017 Rugby World Cup
In 2017, our second special was launched. Our theme was the Rugby World Cup that was hosted by the Oceania countries and our Japan National Team came in 2nd. This was a major achievement in Japan Rugby since we caused several upsets and overcame tough matches. We lost to New Zealand in the finals, but to show our support and gratitude for the historical run, we have made our limited edition cherry flavored corn flakes. We put Ryo Sawa, the captain of the rugby team as our center for this edition's cereal box. We hope they will surprise us with their magical run this year.
2020 Olympics
2020 was a crazy year for Tokyo and the whole Japan. People from all over the world come to watch the summer olympics in Japan. Kei Nishikori (Japan) won the gold medal after defeating Andy Murrey and the whole Japan was in frenzy. All participants did a good job and gave lots of effort into contributing to the medal counts. Japan won 11 gold medals, 27 silver medals and 43 bronze medals. We became the number one cereal company in Japan, and it is all thanks to the Olympic for choosing us for the marketing partner under retail food services. This event has boosted us to where we never expected our company to be at in such short period, and our smart business plan has succeeded in making this dream come true. Congratulation on all the athletes that competed in the 2020 summer olympics.
Introduction to the Protein Bars
With our success with granola bars, we introduced our first protein bars to support the atheletes that are representing Japan. Also, to raise the spirit and support amongst the Japanese citizen, we produced a cereal box with the members of the Japan Rugby team following their succesful run in 2019. This protien bar provides atheletes with nutrients they need to perform their best. We will continue to support Japanese atheletes and provide them with the nutrition and the taste they need.
